New level of value
Matrox® Solios eV-CL ushers in a new level of value for Camerabbbb® frame grabbers. It provides connectivity to the market’smost high-perbbbbance, multi-megapixel area- and line-scanCamera bbbb cameras, augmented with onboard Bayer interpolation (eV-CLB/CLBL models), color space conversions, andlook-up tables (LUTs). The Matrox Solios eV-CL provides all thesecapabilities at an attractive price point.
Versatile Camera bbbb interface
For field-proven, low-latency, and deterministic acquisition,Camera bbbb provides a scalable solution conceived specificallyfor machine vision applications. From cost-sensitive low datarate applications to mainstream applications including color andright up to maximum-bandbbbbb applications, Camera bbbb is anexcellent fit. The introduction of the mini Camera bbbb connector(eV-CLB/CLF models) has led to compatibility with small-footprint PCs, enabling two Base-mode Camera bbbb interfaces withtriggering and general purpose I/O in a single slot. Even the mostspace-constrained systems can now support dual Base or singleMedium/Full configurations.
The Matrox Solios eV-CLB/CLBL is capable of simultaneouslycapturing from two complebbby independent Base Camera bbbbcameras at up to 85 MHz. Fully supporting PoCL, the Matrox SolioseV-CLB/CLBL can reduce cabling complexity, eliminating the needfor bulky and costly external camera power supplies. Alternatively, the Matrox Solios eV-CLF/CLFL—capable of handling a singleFull Camera bbbb camera with up to 10-taps at 70 MHz—canacquire and reconstruct images from the most advanced multi-taphigh-perbbbbance area- and line-scan cameras.
High-perbbbbance host interface
A PCIe x4 host interface provides the throughput necessary toensure the continuous flow of pixels from Matrox Solios eV-CLframe grabbers to host memory. With a peak bandbbbbb of up to1 GB/s, the Matrox Solios eV-CL’s host interface prevents pixelsfrom inadvertently being discarded, while the point-to-pointconnectivity of PCIe stops other add-in devices from consumingvaluable bandbbbbb between the frame grabber and the host PC.
