Bimed / Hazardous Cable Glands / Barrier Glands / Centaurus Armoured
Barrier sealing hazardous area cable gland, suitable for armoured and braided cables (SWA, AWA, STA, SWB, PWA & Shielded.)
Compliant with Ex eb, Ex db, and Ex tb safety standards.
Suitable for use in Group I, II and III Hazardous areas .
The gland provides a flameproof compound seal around the individual cable cores, making this suitable for cables which exhibit "cold flow" characteristics.
The Centaurus-A also provides an IP and cable retention seal on the outer jacket.
Certified to ATEX and IECEx standards with additional b approvals available (see technical for full list).
