It is designed and manufactured as part of the Mark VI series of General Electric Company, and its main function is to control and monitor the interface of the 6-pulse phase control for non reversing bridges. After the DS200DSPC (DSPC, VME processor) chip sends SCR ignition data, it receives feedback and diagnostic data, and processes and transmits the data. It receives multiplexed unit status signals from each bridge leg and decodes and deallocates the unit gate signals for each bridge leg. In addition, it also receives bridge feedback signals, scales them, and then transmits voltage, frequency, and current status data back to the DSPC board.
